Baby Tic-Tac-Toe Shower Game
The baby tic tac doe shower game can be lots of fun. The free baby tic-tac-toe shower game is a twist on the original. Each party guest will need paper and a pencil. Guests will draw a tic-tac-toe board and fill each space (9 in all) with a word associated with babies. The hostess will call out words from a list she has previously prepared before the baby shower. If the hostess calls off a word the guest has written on their game board, it gets marked with an X. The first guest to get three Xs in a row wins the game.
Remember to remind the guests to let you know they have won as this is not bingo so there is no call out. The winners will be delighted to get a gift from the hostess. These gifts can be either of the gag or serious variety based on the tone of the party.
Balloon Bust Shower Game
Get ready to make some noise with this balloon bust game. The balloon bust baby shower game requires lots of balloons, a piece of paper, and a pencil. Take a sheet of paper and write down several baby names and make sure you include the "official" chosen baby name only once. Cut the names out and place one name in each balloon as you blow them up. Once all balloons have been filled with air and a name, scatter them all over the room. Make sure that they are all within people's reach. Each guest will have to try to find the "official" baby name by popping the balloons. The guest who finds the official baby name is the winner. Make them feel like a winner by giving them a prize for their efforts. You want everyone to feel good while they are at the party.
Bath Towel Memories Game
Think of all you can create by having bath towel memories. Have your baby shower guests help create a special bath towel for the baby and turn the shower into a birth celebration. The hostess will need to buy a hooded bath towel (white would be the best color for this project), and non-toxic fabric paint or permanent markers in baby colors like pink or blue. (If the sex of the baby is not known, use a variety of pastel colors.) As each guest arrives have them "autograph" the towel with the paint or markers. Tell them to be creative and to use the best ideas that they can. The shower guests will love the chance to personalize a baby gift. If there is enough room they can include a special note to the baby. At the end of the party, the personalized towel should be presented to the mother-to-be as a gift. She will love all of the attention and the way the gift has been personalized.
Belly Bulge Baby Shower Game
Make sure your guests where a large shirt when the belly bulge baby shower game begins. Have your baby shower guests show off their belly bulge by placing their shower gifts under a maternity shirt. Have the mother-to-be feel of their belly bulge and try to guess what the gift is. If she guesses correct, she gets a party favor. You might want to allow clues as
many boxes are the same size and shape. If she guesses wrong, the guest gets a party favor. Make sure you have favors
that will be good for both the guests and the mother to be.
Blind Diapering Baby Shower Game
Have lots of fun with the blind disappearing baby shower game. The blind diapering baby shower game is similar to the Diaper Mittens baby shower game. You will need a baby doll(s), cloth diaper(s), diaper pins, blind fold(s), and a stopwatch. One at a time, the baby shower guests will be blindfolded and asked to put the cloth diaper on the baby doll. The guest with the best time wins the
game. Or you can set a time limit and see which guest gets the farthest in diapering the baby.
This game is really fun if you divide into two teams and have two contestants going head to head racing the clock. Once the first team member finishes the job, they hand the blind fold off to the next person on their team. The team to finish first wins the game. Then that team will get rewarded with some semi fabulous prizes of the hostess' choosing.
Bloomers Baby Shower Game
Show off your bloomers baby shower game. The Bloomers Baby Shower Game is similar to the hot potato game but is played with a gift wrapped "present". The hostess will need to wrap a pair of bloomers (the bloomers are really a corsage made from two flowers pinned together on a diaper pin) inside the box. She should wrap the present several different times. Have the guests sit in a circle while you start the music. Pick
something with a fast beat to get the package moving quicker. When the music starts, the baby shower guests will pass the box around and around until you stop the music. The guest holding the box when the music stops has to open one layer of the present. Once the layer of wrapping has been removed, the music should start again and the process is repeated until there are no more layers of paper. The guest who unwraps the last layer of wrapping paper is told to open the box and wear the bloomers. To her surprise it will be a beautiful corsage! This will be a great surprise and
provide a huge sense of relief to everyone at the party. What a wonderful baby shower party favor! Let her take it home and tell everyone all about what she got.
Bottoms up Baby Shower Game
Let's get those bottoms up. This baby shower game is called Bottoms Up for a reason. . . The baby shower hostess will need to buy 5 small plastic babies used for cake decoration. Place the plastic babies in a cup and have the guests "roll" them like dice. You might also want to have a
box or something for people to roll them in so they do not get away from you. The goal is to try to get the babies to land with their bottoms up. Each player will get 3 rolls. The player with the most bottoms up after three rolls wins or faces off in a tie. Just think Yahtzee, but with babies. Have a special baby shower party favor ready for the winner. This could be a
diaper so you can cover that baby's bottom.
Bubble Gum Babies Shower Game
Yum, yum, yum, bubble gum babies. This baby shower game challenges guest to create bubble gum babies. Give each baby shower guest a piece of bubble gum to chew. Try to use larger pieces of gum so that the artists will have more to work with. After each guest has chewed their piece, set the timer for 1 minute and see who can for the best bubble gum baby with their gum. Give points for creativity and originality. The winner should be chosen by the mother-to-be and she can select a special baby shower party favor to give to the winner. You might want to suggest a pack of gum as a prize.
Celebrity Babies Shower Game
This just in... it is a celebrities baby shower. Lets see which baby shower party guest is up on their celebrity babies gossip. Hollywood seems to be in the midst of a baby boom so this will be fun. This is a mix and match game and will need to be prepared in advance. The baby shower hostess will create a list of celebrity mothers and their babies' first name only. Write the name of the celebrity mom on the left side of the paper and their baby names on the right side. Make copies to hand out to your guests along with a pencil. Make sure that your information is accurate. Set the timer for one minute and have the guests match the celebrity name to the correct baby name. The guest with the most amount of correct baby name answers wins the game. If a tie, try a tie breaker like spelling a
celebrities last name, or knowing how many marriages they have had. Set aside a special baby shower party favor to give to the winner. Try having a prize like a
memory game or a puzzle book.
*Names of celebrity's children can be found online on many websites.
